I'm a big fan of Hazbin Hotel and it's better than the stupid Velma Show that show stinks Hazbin Hotel is way better and I like the designs of the characters and everything. Red is one of my favorite colors and Hazbin Hotel is better than most other adult shows because unlike them Hazbin Hotel actually takes things seriously and it explores the dark themes and everything from the classic kids shows and movies and it's got better writing better pacing characters especially and Charlie is a breath of relief and fresh air from the usual main protagonists in other adult shows who are selfish ungrateful jerks 24 7 and I like Charlie x Vaggie too and I'm excited to see Hazbin Hotel Season 2 and the rest.

Yeah, it is a community thing, but the problems come because creators make it a hostile environment on purpose. Things like blacklists and such that go out of their way to enable harassment are (in my opinion) the biggest reason closed species have such a bad sigma. Just think of Raven from Teen Titans for example. Raven in Teen titans is 16 years old, yet adult women cosplay her with more provocative intentions and nobody bats an eye. Of course Raven has also an adult form, but the amount of adults that still do have a crush in her in some sort of form, because she was their first childhood crush or stuff like that, is...alot of people. Personally, as a 14 years old, this thing always scared me since I was little, I have been around real p*dophiles unfortunately, and I was scared of "situations" like this, I thought they made me no better than them (yes, I was basically scared of being a pedo for liking a younger character when I was like 9). but then I thought of all different adaptations of characters that were previously young and then in the sequel or new season (or a complete different adaptation) are all grown up, and if you so happen to find them attractive, nobody says anything, if it's canon. But if in canon is alright, then why not fanfiction or in your fantasies? Surely the discourse here is not just AGING UP a character for a story or fanart, more so SEXUALIZING the AGED UP character. But, I fail to see where that is wrong, let alone makes you a creep? I mean, if you're not just saying "its all fine guys the character is 18 in this piece" and then the characters still acts like a minor and nothing else except you calling the character "an adult" actually makes them an adult, then no, that's creepy as hell. But if it's an adult, why is it so bad? If a character is an adult canonically, nobody gets suspicious about it. My point is, I think it's fine if you like a minor character not because they're young, that shouldn't be the focus, that shouldn't be the very reason you feel attracted to them, but I can see how you could still feel enamoured, for example, with your first childhood crush or childhood comfort character. Atleast that's how I see it. I also think that people should stop throwing around the term pedo with no actual reason, since it can be so damaging and even traumatizing. Edit: I think this discourse can applied even with cosplayers, such as people cosplaying minors and really young characters with more lewd undertones. I mean...at first I thought it was disgusting and it felt extremely off to me, but then I realized that other than the character being young, or even a child (like Little Red Riding hood), There's nothing that makes it weird. I mean, if its an adult, acting like an adult, the costume really doesn't matter. Its creepy if the cosplayer acts like a child, but if not nothing's really wrong with it. While I think the explotaition of children even via art form is bad and can influence real children, It's disrespectful to go call people online a creep with no actual proofs, when out there there are so many real sick people. That said, I think its perfectly fine to not like this kind of stuff, cause I do see why some people think its weird, everyone has different opinions and thats okay. just don't go around harrassing or threatening people for no actual reason.
